Marion County Commission on Youth
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Marion County Commission on Youth (MCCOY) is a nonprofit organization that champions the positive development of youth through community and systems change. Since 1993 it has served as the facilitating, convening, and coordinating body for youth services in the Indianapolis community.
In 2025, MCCOY was awarded a significant grant from the WNBA All-Star Host Committee to renovate its facility to align with ADA standards, improve safety, and expand community training capacity. The organization moved quickly to make these facility improvements, many that required enhancements to the design and function of its audio visual systems.
We went to work designing a system that could serve people of all abilities and support the delivery of MCCOY’s training programs, stakeholder engagement, and community events. Installation came next, with our team focused on both expert installation and maintaining a useable space as the organization’s training programs continued through the project timeline.
We took a special pride in our work for MCCOY, knowing that our effort and expertise would have a meaningful impact not only on the organization, but in helping advance MCCOY’s mission and impact. And the end result is something that both we and our client our proud of: “Thank you, AV Designers and Technology! With your help, our space is now improved, more accessible, and ready to help us continue our positive impact on the community.” -MCCOY
